High perfect Morcant - Elf Infect by sillyork

Format: Commander

Commander: High Perfect Morcant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf-tribal deck built around High Perfect Morcant, using -1/-1 counters and proliferate as its core engine. The commander's ETB blight (each opponent puts a -1/-1 counter on a creature) and its tap-three-elves proliferate ability create a recursive control loop. The primary win condition is accumulating poison counters on each opponent via Ichor Rats, Infectious Inquiry, Vraska's Fall, and Virulent Wound, then proliferating them to 10. Backup plans include infect combat damage from Glistener Elf, Bilious Skulldweller, and Tainted Strike, and infinite elf token generation through Blowfly Infestation + Flourishing Defenses + any -1/-1 counter source. The deck is dense with mana dorks, Elf lords, and card draw engines, letting it rebuild quickly and execute its plan even without the commander.
