Commander: Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin is a Rakdos 'exact-life-loss' engine that turns every 1-point drain into a +1/+1 counter and a card exiled from the top of the library. The primary plan is to land Ob Nixilis early, flood the board with one-damage triggers (End the Festivities, Firebrand Archer, Hissing Miasma), then either make him unblockable for commander damage or finish with Chandra's Ignition. Prosper, Tome-Bound is the hidden commander, turning cast-from-exile spells into Treasures; Passionate Archaeologist and draw-punishers like Underworld Dreams form a backup burn plan. The deck is board-dense, interaction-light but not devoid of answers, and rewards careful trigger sequencing.
