Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya aggressive strategy centered around Sovereign Okinec Ahau. It uses low-cost Auras, Equipment, and +1/+1 counters to modify creatures early in the game. When the commander attacks, it checks each creature whose power exceeds its base power and adds +1/+1 counters equal to the difference, exponentially expanding the board's offensive footprint every combat step. Supported by Cat tribal synergies and token producers like Felidar Retreat and Regal Caracal, the deck quickly builds overwhelming board states. Strong protection tools, including Totem armor Umbras, Commander's Plate, and Teferi's Protection, shield key pieces from conventional removal. The deck relies on combat damage to eliminate opponents across successive turns while using targeted permanent removal and graveyard denial to disrupt opposing engines.
