Format: Commander

Commander: Bilbo, Thief in the Night

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Bilbo, Thief in the Night leads a mono-blue spells-matter deck that fills its graveyard, then uses Bilbo's attack trigger and flashback effects to recast instants, sorceries, and artifacts at a discount. The primary path is value: generate card advantage and tokens from Talrand, Murmuring Mystic, Shark Typhoon, and Ominous Seas while growing Bilbo with Glamdring. Secondary paths are commander damage with unblockable equipment and a flying token swarm. Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy and Lier act as hidden secondary engines. The commander is not double-faced; the deck is built around his graveyard-cast attack trigger and cost reduction.
