Oloro life gain by JoshRobinTMH

Format: Commander

Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an Esper (WUB) lifegain/pillow fort control strategy helmed by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic. The primary game plan is to gain life passively from Oloro's command zone ability and lifegain permanents, then convert that life into card advantage via Oloro's paid draw ability and other engines. The deck wins through either combat damage from huge lifelinked creatures (Serra Avatar, Angel of Destiny, Drogskol Rever) or by assembling an infinite lifegain/drain loop with Bloodthirsty Conqueror + Starscape Cleric or Deffiant Bloodlord. It leans heavily on pillow fort pieces (Propaganda, No Mercy, Crawlspace) to survive while accumulating resources. A secondary win condition is Approach of the Second Sun. The deck is slow and grindy, relying on inevitability rather than speed.
