Talrand, Sky Summoner (High-Powered Infinite Combo-Control) by Arklem

Format: Commander

Commander: Talrand, Sky Summoner

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Talrand deck is a mono-blue control-combo deck that wins with infinite mana and infinite turns, not with Drake beats. The primary plan is the High Tide engine: High Tide plus Peregrine Drake and Ghostly Flicker or Displace loops with Mystic Sanctuary to recur Time Warp for infinite extra turns and mana. The secondary path is Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal with mana rocks like Sol Ring and Basalt Monolith for infinite mana into Brain Freeze or Capsize. Talrand, Sky Summoner is a value token maker that supplies flying blockers and fuels Opposition locks, but no combo requires him. The hidden commander is the High Tide/Scepter package, which the tutors actually find.
