Deck overview

This five-color midrange deck is led by Leonardo, the Balance and focuses on the intersection of token creation and +1/+1 counter distribution. Early turns prioritize ramp through two-mana land search and mana dorks to ensure access to all five colors. Midgame turns establish engines such as Rosie Cotton of South Lane, Galadriel, Light of Valinor, and Virtue of Loyalty that generate tokens and trigger Leonardo's ability to put +1/+1 counters on the entire team once per turn. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by compounding power with pieces like Branching Evolution and Threefold Thunderhulk. It closes games by activating Leonardo's {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} ability to give the board menace, trample, and lifelink, or by casting one-sided sweepers such as Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye to clear opposing blockers.
