Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Bear tribal and landfall stompy deck commanded by The Earth King. The strategy revolves around deploying efficient Bear creatures and power 4 or greater beaters to trigger the commander's ability, which searches for basic Forest cards whenever large creatures attack. This continuous influx of lands triggers powerful landfall generators such as Rampaging Baloths, Titania, Nature's Force, and Dancing from Dark to Dawn, rapidly expanding the board state with large creature tokens. Card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond replenish your hand as big creatures enter. The deck closes out games by granting mass evasion and stat boosts through Unnatural Growth, Akroma's Memorial, and Return of the Wildspeaker, trampling over opposing defenses over two combat cycles.
