Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact midrange and stompy list helmed by Aerid Konstrari. The game plan accelerates in the opening turns using low-cost mana rocks and basic land ramp to land Aerid on turn 3 or 4. Aerid provides an immediate 5/4 flying body and creates Heartwood mana tokens on entry and death, functioning as both an evasive threat and a recurring ramp engine. As the board accumulates artifacts and tokens, the deck transitions into a high-pressure win phase around turn 5. It closes games by pumping Aerid into a lethal flying strike, swarming with artifact animators like Depthshaker Titan and Displaced Dinosaurs, duplicating triggers via Blade of Selves, or burning the table through Reckless Fireweaver. While the deck possesses explosive mana velocity and resilient commander recovery, it lacks dedicated creature removal and direct tutors, relying heavily on natural card draw engines and combat damage to eliminate opponents across multiple turns.
