Deck overview

This Queen Marchesa deck executes a Mardu Spite and Aikido strategy designed to turn incoming and symmetrical damage into game-ending burst lethality. The core engine deploys resilient reflection creatures like Boros Reckoner, Truefire Captain, and Phyrexian Vindicator, pairing them with asymmetric damage multipliers such as Furnace of Rath, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Fiery Emancipation. Once assembled, massive board-wide damage spells like Blasphemous Act and Star of Extinction deal exponential damage to your own creatures, which redirect lethal blasts directly to opponents' life totals. Queen Marchesa provides steady card flow through the Monarch mechanic alongside token deathtouch blockers, while a versatile Sunforger package tutors for precision removal and defensive aikido blowouts like Deflecting Palm and Inkshield. The deck thrives by maintaining a threatening defensive posture before closing out games in explosive single-turn damage spikes.
