Commander: Lightning, Army of One

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This aggressive Voltron and combat-centric deck aims to defeat opponents using Lightning, Army of One alongside high-impact Equipment and extra combat phases. Lightning provides baked-in first strike, trample, and lifelink, but her core strength is the Stagger ability. Dealing combat damage with Lightning doubles all subsequent damage dealt to that player or their permanents until your next turn. The deck accelerates kills through power-doubling effects, double strike, and multiple combat phases using cards like Karlach, Fury of Avernus or Aggravated Assault. It can also assemble infinite combat steps via Aggravated Assault paired with Sword of Feast and Famine or The Reaver Cleaver.
