Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black attrition and rack control list piloted by Tinybones, Trinket Thief. Its central strategy revolves around deploying symmetrical and asymmetric discard effects early to dismantle opponents' opening hands and disrupt their game development. As opposing resources are depleted, Tinybones generates consistent card advantage by drawing on end steps where opponents discarded. The deck breaks parity through engines like Waste Not and Bandit's Talent, accumulating mana and board presence while starving opponents of interaction. Once hands are reduced to zero, passive damage sources such as Shrieking Affliction, Wheel of Torture, and Quest for the Nihil Stone rapidly erode life totals, culminating in repeated activations of Tinybones's drain ability or a massive Exsanguinate powered by Cabal Coffers. While devastating against card-dependent and slow midrange strategies, the deck remains vulnerable to aggressive go-wide boards, artifact-based combos, and topdecked removal targeting its key commander engine.
