Deck overview

This mono-green aggressive Voltron deck leverages Hit-Monkey as a resilient, self-protecting commander. With uncounterable deployment, haste, hexproof, vigilance, and deathtouch built directly into the command zone, the deck sidesteps common Voltron pain points such as counterspells and spot removal. Mana ramp on Turn 1 facilitates an early deployment on Turn 3, immediately applying combat pressure. The deck scales Hit-Monkey's lethality through high-impact equipment like Commander's Plate, synergistic +1/+1 counter engines, and alternative poison clocks via Fynn, the Fangbearer and Triumph of the Hordes. While it possesses immense resilience against targeted interaction, its primary bottleneck is multiplayer combat math, requiring multiple sequential attack steps to defeat three separate opponents. Backup packages include tutor engines into high-impact stompy finishers and mana engines that can fuel game-ending Finale of Devastation attacks.
