Deck overview

This mono-white combo deck centers on Monk Gyatso's airbend ability to generate infinite creature casts, card draw, and lethal enter-the-battlefield triggers. By targeting a friendly creature with free repeatable abilities from Nomads en-Kor, Warrior en-Kor, or Shuko, Monk Gyatso exiles that creature and permits its owner to cast it from exile for {2} generic mana. Cost reducers such as Semblance Anvil, Cloud Key, and Pearl Medallion reduce this recast cost to {0} mana. Looping enter-the-battlefield cantrip creatures like Helpful Hunter, Spirited Companion, or Wall of Omens allows the deck to draw its entire library. From there, it casts Altar of the Brood to mill all opponents out in a single turn or loops Cloister Gargoyle to drain life totals via the Lost Mine of Phandelver dungeon. Supported by low-cost white removal, specialized artifact and creature tutors, and responsive protection spells, the deck reliably executes a same-turn win on Turn 5.
