Deck overview

Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest commands a Golgari Aristocrats engine that converts sacrifice triggers into massive team-wide +1/+1 counters. The deck ramps on Turns 2–3 with cards like Sakura-Tribe Elder and Tireless Provisioner to deploy Mazirek on Turn 5. On Turn 6, casting edict creatures like Fleshbag Marauder or activating sacrifice outlets triggers Mazirek across all four players, rapidly growing a lethal board of evasive and trample creatures. The deck also includes an infinite combo with Basking Broodscale, where Eldrazi Spawn tokens sacrifice themselves for mana to continuously retrigger Mazirek. While it lacks fast 0–1 mana acceleration and countermagic, the list leverages deep graveyard recursion with Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Eternal Witness to sustain attrition and rebuild after board wipes.
