Deck overview

This competitive Commander deck partners Krark, the Thumbless and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to create a blisteringly fast spellslinger storm engine. By copying Krark with Sakashima, every instant and sorcery triggers two coin flips. Losing a flip returns the spell to hand while winning copies it, allowing cheap rituals and cantrips to be recast repeatedly while generating surplus mana, card advantage, and storm count. The deck leverages premier fast mana and efficient card selection to assemble its commanders by turn 3, converting non-deterministic flip chains into deterministic table-wide finishes using Grapeshot or Brain Freeze. Backed by a dense package of free countermagic like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, the deck protects its combo turns efficiently. It also maintains robust independent win conditions through Underworld Breach and Dualcaster Mage combos, ensuring high resilience against commander-targeted disruption.
