Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai midrange strategy commanded by The Wise Mothman that unites radiation mill mechanics with aggressive +1/+1 counter scaling. Early turns focus on establishing mana fixing and deploying low-cost mill enablers like Mesmeric Orb and Ruin Crab. Once The Wise Mothman enters combat, it distributes rad counters to every player. Each turn, rad counters force players to mill cards and lose life, triggering Mothman to distribute +1/+1 counters whenever nonland cards hit the graveyard. Counter multipliers such as Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Corpsejack Menace rapidly grow your board into an overwhelming evasive aerial assault. The deck also features a compact instant-win combo with Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank, capable of draining the entire table in a continuous loop. While vulnerable to heavy graveyard hate and mass board sweepers, the deck sustains high card velocity through combat card draw, Monarch mechanics, and graveyard recursion.
