The Pack Remembers - Budget by user8855422

Format: Commander

Commander: Chief of the Wilds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Wolf-tribal go-wide deck built around Chief of the Wilds as an exponential force-multiplier. The commander makes every Wolf that enters after it put two +1/+1 counters on itself, and it doubles the triggered abilities of other Wolves, so token generators like Master of the Wild Hunt, Nightpack Ambusher, and Hollowhenge Overlord spiral out of control. The deck ramps early with mana dorks and land-tutors, floods the battlefield with Wolf tokens, grows the commander into a massive clock, and wins through a single overwhelming combat step provided by Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or an X-cost Finale of Devastation. There are no infinite combos in the list; instead, the deck leans on board density, trample, and recursion tools like Bloodline Bidding to close the game.
