Deck overview

This deck leverages Papalymo Totolymo as a low-cost, repeatable spellslinger and drain engine in Orzhov colors. By casting cheap noncreature spells, cantrips, and efficient removal, the deck chips away at opposing life totals while steadily padding its own life buffer. It enhances this attrition strategy with redundant drain amplifiers such as Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Marauding Blight-Priest, Enduring Tenacity, and Starscape Cleric, alongside alternate board-flooding threats like Monastery Mentor. Defensive enchantments and combat fogs keep opposing attackers at bay, allowing the deck to control the pace of the game. While the deck includes the infinite pairing of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, it relies on natural card flow and cantrip velocity rather than dedicated tutors to assemble its win conditions.
