Deck overview

Thomil, the Destroyer is a mono-black zombie aristocrats deck. It plans to outlast opponents by creating zombie tokens, draining life with Blood Artist-style triggers, and leveraging graveyard recursion. The commander's +2 pumps out tokens, his 0 ability converts one into {B}{B}{B}, and his -5 creates a 7/7 Demon; but the real win is a compact graveyard combo: Phyrexian Altar plus Carrion Feeder and Gravecrawler, or Ashnod's Altar plus Pitiless Plunderer and Reassembling Skeleton, with a drain outlet. Secondary plans include zombie-lord beats, Gray Merchant devotion, and Bolas's Citadel. The deck has strong card draw and tutors, but almost no stack interaction.
