Format: Commander

Commander: Ral, Monsoon Mage // Ral, Leyline Prodigy

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a UR spellslinger/combo deck built to cheat on mana and win in a single storm turn. Ral, Monsoon Mage's main role is the front-face cost reducer; the deck wants to cast many cheap instants and sorceries, then flip to Ral, Leyline Prodigy for reach, although most deterministic kills do not require him. The primary plan is to accelerate into Birgi or Electro, chain rituals and wheels until Seething Song + Reiterate are assembled, generate infinite red, and finish with copied Lightning Bolts or a stormed Brain Freeze. A secondary graveyard loop uses Underworld Breach, Lion's Eye Diamond, Wheel of Fortune, and Brain Freeze. Birgi functions as a hidden commander, providing both ritual mana and impulse draw.
