Deck overview

This is a Bant +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, built to grow counters exponentially through a dense package of doublers and proliferate engines, then close the game either through overwhelming combat or a Walking Ballista combo. Tidus moves counters between creatures at the start of combat and draws a card plus proliferates whenever creatures with counters connect, giving the deck both card flow and counter acceleration from the command zone. The deck runs five counter-doubling effects (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Conclave Mentor, Kami of Whispered Hopes, The Earth Crystal) alongside proliferate engines like Evolution Sage, Flux Channeler, Inexorable Tide, and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus. Win conditions include unblockable, double-striking combat swings enabled by Herald of Secret Streams and Chocobo Knights, plus the Ballista combo as a compact alternative.
