Deck overview

This Grixis deck leverages Obeka, Splitter of Seconds to multiply upkeep triggers through combat damage, creating an overwhelming engine of card draw, hand destruction, and direct life drain. Powered by a fast mana suite featuring Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and Dark Ritual, the deck deploys Obeka ahead of curve on Turn 2 or 3. It equips her with evasion and protection pieces like Commander's Plate, Clout of the Dominus, and Conqueror's Flail to ensure unblocked combat connections. Once Obeka connects, upkeep engines such as Court of Ambition, Court of Embereth, Twilight Prophet, and Plargg and Nassari resolve multiple times in a single turn, stripping opposing hands and burning the table out by Turn 5. An elite interaction package of free counterspells and removal protects the engine, while the compact Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation combo provides a resilient alternative win condition.
