Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Aristocrats and Enchantress hybrid commanded by Myrkul, Lord of Bones. The strategy accelerates mana during early turns using potent ramp pieces like Sanctum Weaver, Bloom Tender, and Smothering Tithe to cast Myrkul on Turn 6. Once on the battlefield, Myrkul converts dying utility creatures, hatebears, and constellation engines into permanent non-creature enchantments. This interaction makes the engine immune to traditional creature board wipes and spot removal. The deck locks down opposing combat with Sphere of Safety and Magus of the Tabernacle, repeatedly sweeps small boards with Doomwake Giant, and floods the battlefield with tokens using Archon of Sun's Grace and Scute Swarm. Winning lines finish the table across Turns 7 and 8 through wide combat swings and drain loops from Mirkwood Bats, Grim Guardian, Cruel Celebrant, and Zulaport Cutthroat. Even without Myrkul, standalone enchantress synergies maintain high resilience and board presence.
