Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal and Equipment strategy commanded by Thorin Oakenshield. It focuses on assembling the Storied mechanic by deploying at least three artifacts, legendary permanents, or Sagas, granting your entire board ward {1}. The early game establishes mana development through cheap artifacts like Sol Ring, Fellwar Stone, and Goldvein Pick, while curving into value Dwarves like Kíli the Resourceful and Dwalin, Weaponmaster. Mid-game turns scale creature power using equipment such as Hero's Blade, Sting, Bilbo's Sword, and Scytheclaw, supported by free attachment engines like Puresteel Paladin and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. The deck applies lethal combat pressure around Turn 6, leveraging Dáin Ironfoot for double strike and Balin, Loremaster for asymmetric burn damage, closing the game around Turn 8. While resilient against single-target spells thanks to ward {1}, it remains susceptible to artifact wipes and mass creature sweepers.
