Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari -1/-1 counters and aristocrats engine commanded by Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons. It leverages -1/-1 counter distribution to create wide armies of 1/1 deathtouch Snake tokens, converting those tokens into massive card advantage with Skullclamp and Generous Patron and locking creature-based strategies out of the game with Grave Pact and Maha, Its Feathers Night. The primary win condition is a compact infinite loop using Blowfly Infestation alongside Hapatra and any of eight redundant aristocrat drain effects, such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Bastion of Remembrance. The deck also features an alternate infinite mana engine in Devoted Druid plus Luxior, Giada's Gift. With dense low-mana ramp and versatile protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Veil of Summer, the deck reliably assembles its value engine by Turn 4 and closes games on Turn 6 while maintaining overwhelming control over opposing creature boards.
