Tribale lucertole by ilsalve

Commander: Gev, Scaled Scorch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Lizard tribal strategy helmed by Gev, Scaled Scorch, built around pinging opponents to trigger the "if an opponent lost life this turn" theme. The primary game plan is to deploy a steady stream of lizards, use low-cost damage spells and creatures to chip away at opponents' life totals, and then leverage Gev's ability to stack +1/+1 counters on each new creature, turning the board into a growing threat. The deck also includes a subtheme of "outlaws" (Assassins, Mercenaries, Rogues, Warlocks) to gain extra value from cards like At Knifepoint and Graywater's Fixer. The ultimate win condition is combat damage from a wide, +1/+1-counter-enhanced lizard army, supplemented by direct damage from Fiery Confluence, Hissing Iguanar, and Theater of Horrors. The deck lacks tutors or infinite combos, relying on tribal redundancy and incremental advantage over the course of the game.
