Deck overview

Grixis Sauron is a value-tempo deck that grows Orc and Wraith tokens, uses the Ring to discard a full hand and draw four, and converts those discards into burn and combat damage. Lord of the Nazgul functions as a secondary engine, creating 3/3 Wraiths from every instant or sorcery. The deck wins through a Magmakin Artillerist/Monument to Endurance discard-burn chain, a large unblockable Army, or theft via In the Darkness Bind Them. It has no deterministic infinite combo but high interaction density and enough recursion to rebuild after wipes. Sauron is both draw engine and finisher, but the deck can still function without him.
