Elf Daddy by mjprazer

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai elf-combo deck that blends a dense mana-dork package with two primary kill mechanisms: a compact Demonic Consultation + Thassa's Oracle line and an infinite-mana loop involving Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination on a high-output elf. Thranduil acts as a graveyard toolbox and card engine, gaining activated abilities from Buried Alive targets and drawing when other legendary Elves enter. Secondary beats come from elf lords, landfall tokens, and a massive Finale of Devastation. The deck is fast, tutoring consistently toward a turn-4 goldfish while preserving countermagic and protection to shield its combo turn.
