Deck overview

This mono-black Necron deck, helmed by Imotekh the Stormlord, is a self-mill artifact reanimator that converts a stocked graveyard into a relentless tide of 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens. The core engine is Imotekh's Phaeron trigger - every time an artifact card leaves the graveyard (via unearth, reanimation, or exile), the deck creates two tokens. The deck mills aggressively with Flayed One, Ripples of Undeath, Szarekh, the Silent King, and Out of the Tombs, then reanimates with Living Death, Dread Return, The War in Heaven, and Technomancer. Wins come from combat with pumped artifact creatures (Imotekh's Grand Strategist, Caged Sun, Skorpekh Lord, Cranial Plating), the Necron Overlord's X-life drain, and Shard of the Void Dragon beats. Trazyn the Infinite acts as a toolbox by copying activated abilities from the graveyard. It is a grindy, value-oriented deck that wins through incremental board advantage rather than combos.
