Phyrexians by cassiopeia

Format: Commander

Commander: Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ixhel is a midrange poison/proliferate deck: cheap toxic attackers and ETB poison effects (Ichor Rats, Phyresis Outbreak) set the initial counters, then Ixhel's evasion and Corrupted trigger turn pressure into card advantage while Vorinclex doubles every counter. The most efficient finish is Vorinclex plus Vraska's -9 to remove one player, then Contagion Engine and Karn's Bastion proliferate the rest; Paladin of Predation and Skithiryx provide fast alternate closers. The deck grinds well because it can exile and cast opponent cards, recur key permanents, and draw through effects like Contaminant Grafter and Goliath Hatchery. Hidden commander: Vorinclex.
