Deck overview

This Grixis deck is a high-power Wheels and Group Slug list commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary strategy focuses on deploying damage-dealing punishers like Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Underworld Dreams, then chaining mass wheel effects like Windfall, Dark Deal, and Wheel of Misfortune to burn out the entire table simultaneously. The deck generates substantial mana acceleration through low-cost rocks and rituals, enabling it to establish its setup by Turn 4 and launch lethal damage bursts by Turn 5. In addition to direct draw burn, the deck features the game-ending infinite combo of Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank, alongside asymmetric resource denial engines like Notion Thief paired with Teferi's Puzzle Box. Supported by a sturdy suite of cheap countermagic, targeted removal, and defensive tools like Deflecting Swat and Propaganda, the deck reliably controls the table while burning down all three opponents across one or two explosive turn rotations.
