Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Naya Landfall and +1/+1 counters strategy commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph turns nontoken artifacts into lands and automatically earthbends a land each end step, turning lands into resilient 0/0 creatures with haste and +1/+1 counters that return to the battlefield tapped if destroyed or exiled. The deck leverages this steady stream of animated lands alongside potent landfall and counter multipliers like Avenger of Zendikar, Omnath, Locus of Rage, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, The Earth Crystal, and Terrasymbiosis. While the deck lacks fast combo finishes and proactive stax pieces, its robust ramp base, resilient land-death triggers, and premium defensive spells such as Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and Sylvan Safekeeper allow it to continuously assemble formidable combat boards and overpower tables by Turn 8.
