Deck overview

This Sultai deck is led by Teval, the Balanced Scale, focusing on land recursion, self-mill, and token generation. The game plan centers on ramping early, casting Teval on Turn 3 or 4, and attacking to mill cards while returning lands from the graveyard to create a growing army of 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens. Midgame turns leverage powerful land recursion engines such as Splendid Reclamation, Aftermath Analyst, and Conduit of Worlds alongside landfall payoffs like Rampaging Baloths and Ob Nixilis, the Fallen. Cards like Wonder and Living Death turn stocked graveyards into decisive combat swings. While the deck possesses explosive mana scaling and excellent graveyard value, it lacks countermagic to protect against stack-based combos and is vulnerable to well-timed mass graveyard exile.
