The Watcher In the Water COMBO by Swibles

Format: Commander

Commander: The Watcher in the Water

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Watcher in the Water is a mono-blue commander that rewards drawing cards on opponents' turns by creating 1/1 blue Tentacle tokens. The deck leverages a massive draw-engine suite - Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Consecrated Sphinx, The One Ring - to generate tokens and card advantage, then wins via self-mill combo (Thassa's Oracle, Laboratory Maniac, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries), alternative mill through Teferi's Tutelage, or beatdown with Psychosis Crawler and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre. Extra-turn spells (Nexus of Fate, Teferi, Master of Time's ultimate) provide additional tempo and inevitability.
