Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal deck piloted by The Ur-Dragon. Its strategy leverages the eminence ability to reduce the cost of all Dragon spells by one mana from the start of the game. Supported by a robust suite of two-mana artifacts and ramp creatures, the deck accelerates into high-impact threats well ahead of regular timing. On Turns 4 and 5, it establishes powerful value and damage engines such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Once these pieces land, subsequent dragon casts generate explosive immediate value, token swarms, and direct burn. The deck transitions into an overwhelming aerial combat force, using The Ur-Dragon to draw cards and cheat permanents directly onto the battlefield. While vulnerable to sweepers and mana disruption, its high threat density ensures resilient pressure.
