Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Betor, Ancestor's Voice is a five-mana Abzan engine that converts every life swing into board presence. The deck gains life through lifelink attackers, Soul Warden effects, and Aetherflux Reservoir, then spends it on draw spells, Bolas's Citadel, and phyrexian-style costs to stock the graveyard. Each end step Betor turns the turn's net life change into +1/+1 counters and a free reanimation, creating a grinding midrange game. The fastest path is an infinite drain with Exquisite Blood plus Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose; the deck also wins through commander damage with Archangel of Thune or a 50-life Aetherflux Reservoir activation.
