Deck overview

This deck is a Bant +1/+1 counters midrange strategy helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The game plan focuses on curving out with efficient mana accelerants and modified creatures, deploying Tidus on Turn 3, and leveraging his Cheer ability on Turn 4 to consistently draw cards and proliferate. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into critical onset, utilizing exponential counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal, or evasion pieces such as Herald of Secret Streams and Akroma's Will to threaten massive combat damage. While the deck's primary victory path relies on unblockable or trample attacks, it also packs an incidental infinite mana combo with Bloom Tender and Freed from the Real into Walking Ballista. Supported by an elite suite of phasing and indestructible protection spells, the deck safeguards its developing board against mass removal while out-valuing and crushing opponents through overwhelming board presence.
