Gandalf - Ode a la Rouge by frenchd3

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Goblins' Bane // Flameshape

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-red storm and burn deck uses Gandalf, Goblins Bane to turn noncreature spell sequences into lethal table-wide damage while providing burst card advantage via its Adventure half, Flameshape. The primary game plan accelerates mana using red rituals and cost reducers to chain low-cost cantrips and impulse-draw spells, generating massive storm counts and group burn triggers. Secondary paths bypass spell chaining entirely through compact combos, including the instant Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame line to create infinite attacking copies, and infinite combat phases using Aggravated Assault with Neheb, the Eternal or The Reaver Cleaver. Highly scalable outlets like Underworld Breach, Reiterate, and Grapeshot close games when life totals remain.
