Deck overview

Toluz, Clever Conductor is a self-discard value engine: draw and looting effects bank discarded cards in exile under her, and her death returns them all to hand. Hashaton, Scarab's Fist is the deck's hidden commander, turning every discarded creature into a 4/4 Zombie at instant speed. The primary plan is to cycle through the library, keep the best cards safe under Toluz, then recast her after a reload. Secondary paths come from Archfiend of Ifnir's -1/-1 tax, Wraith, Vicious Vigilante's unblockable double-strike commander damage, and mass recursion from Grimoire of the Dead or Dusk // Dawn. The deck is a grindy attrition deck, not a combo deck, and wins through repeated combat phases.
