Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Spellslinger Control deck commanded by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. It operates by establishing early cost reducers and defensive enchantments before deploying Y'shtola to convert noncreature spells with mana value three or greater into life drain and card draw. The deck protects its life total and board state through a dense suite of combat fog effects, countermagic, and creature pacification Auras. Once stabilized, the deck seeks to close the game through one of two primary combo packages. Its main line imprints an extra turn spell such as Temporal Manipulation or Capture of Jingzhou onto Panoptic Mirror to take infinite consecutive turns. Its secondary finish uses Fractured Identity targeting Phage the Untouchable or Transcendence to force opponents to lose the game immediately through their enter-the-battlefield or state triggers. The deck delivers resilient defensive control with reliable, decisive combo finishes.
