Deck overview

This Izzet partner deck is built around Malcolm as a turn-two Treasure engine and Kraum as a haste-y flying draw engine; together they smooth mana and cards while the deck holds up countermagic. The primary win is the Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame loop, which creates arbitrarily many hasty 2/2 tokens that attack for lethal. Secondary paths are Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity (infinite draw-damage) and a dragon beatdown plan powered by Dragon Tempest, Astral Dragon, and Malcolm's Treasures. Niv-Mizzet is the hidden commander: the instant/sorcery and draw density is built to support him. The deck is a tempo-control combo deck that can also win through combat if the combo is disrupted.
