Deck overview

This Selesnya Cat Tribal deck is led by Arahbo, Roar of the World with Kaheera, the Orphanguard as companion. The strategy leverages Arahbo's Eminence ability to pump early aggressive Cats for free directly from the command zone, applying immediate pressure starting on Turn 3. It scales into the mid-game with powerful tribal force multipliers like Sovereign Okinec Ahau, Bast, Panther Goddess, and Jazal Goldmane, backed by token generation from Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Leonin Warleader. A suite of Ajani planeswalkers provides incremental life gain, counters, and utility. The deck interacts well with opposing permanents through efficient spot removal such as Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, and repeatable artifact/enchantment hate on Cats like Feline Sovereign and Qasali Pridemage. While highly resilient to single-target removal on its commander, the deck wins strictly through combat damage across multiple turn cycles, leaving it vulnerable to mass board sweepers.
