Dimir Sygg Aggro (EDH) by sandmanfucker

Format: Commander

Commander: Sygg, River Cutthroat

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Dimir tempo-ninja deck built around Sygg, River Cutthroat as a conditional draw engine that rewards consistent damage output. The primary plan is to deploy cheap, unblockable creatures, then use ninjutsu to upgrade them into high-value ninjas that trigger additional draw, life loss, and token generation. The deck accumulates card advantage through multiple combat-draw enchantments (Bident of Thassa, Coastal Piracy, Reconnaissance Mission) and ninja abilities, while applying pressure with evasive threats. It closes out through incremental damage, Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow flipping high-CMC cards for massive life loss, or a blowout Notorious Throng extra turn. The strategy is relentlessly aggressive, leveraging the low curve to maintain a full hand and recover from wipes.
