Deck overview

This is a high-curve Jund deck built around Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire attacks, sacrifice-based attrition, and large creature payoffs. Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire turns each attack into three sacrifices and can put permanent cards from library tops directly onto the battlefield. Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, Tergrid, God of Fright, and It That Betrays make those sacrifices increasingly punishing. The primary compact finish is Aggravated Assault with Savage Ventmaw. That loop needs a haste source and reliable trample, commonly Shadowspear, so it is powerful but difficult to assemble. Mana development is strong through cheap mana creatures, Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and land-based acceleration. Card selection exists, but access to the enchantment and complete combo package is weak. The deck can produce explosive turns, yet it remains vulnerable to removal, graveyard disruption, and interaction aimed at its key permanents.
