Deck overview

Carth the Lion is the engine of a Golgari superfriends deck. The primary plan is ramp into Carth on turn three, use his top-seven tutoring to find planeswalkers, and exploit his loyalty-cost bonus to ultimate quickly. Secondary paths are token generation backed by Garruk and Nissa ultimates, and an accelerated doubling package with Doubling Season, Vorinclex, and Innkeeper's Talent. Carth's role is both tutor and loyalty manipulator; there is no hidden second commander. The deck wins through game-ending emblems (Vraska, Golgari Queen; Lolth; Garruk, Cursed Huntsman) or by closing the game with Agent Frank Horrigan and Vorinclex beats after proliferating walkers.
