Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher commands an Orzhov Aristocrats strategy that converts sacrifice effects into board dominance and life drain. Carmen grows whenever any player sacrifices a permanent and reanimates key cards on attack, creating self-sustaining value loops. The deck pairs continuous edict effects like Grave Pact and Accursed Marauder with drain engines like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Vein Ripper to whittle down opposing life totals. Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubles turn damage to swiftly close out games, while token generators such as Elenda, the Dusk Rose and Charismatic Conqueror provide endless fodder. Combat buffs from Akroma's Will deliver devastating lethal strikes alongside incremental aristocrat burn.
