Deck overview

Tovolar, Dire Overlord commands an aggressive Gruul Werewolf tribal deck focused on early creature deployment, persistent card advantage, and combat damage scaling. Tovolar solves the historical Werewolf restriction by automatically forcing night during upkeep whenever you control three or more Wolves or Werewolves, transforming your pack into high-statted threats. His combat damage trigger turns every unblocked attacker into fresh resources to sustain pressure. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Beastmaster Ascension, and Unnatural Growth, backed by Tovolar's night-side trample pump and token generation from Hollowhenge Overlord and Tovolar's Huntmaster.
