Oros by user6867058

Format: Commander

Commander: Oros, the Avenger

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Mardu deck leans into a controlling, board-wipe-heavy game plan built around Oros, the Avenger's ability to punish nonwhite creatures after connecting in combat. The strategy is to deploy durable flyers and indestructible artifacts, clear the board repeatedly with effects like Akroma's Vengeance and Rout, and then grind out incremental life-total advantages through commander damage, Syr Konrad, the Grim's drain trigger, and a handful of lifelink enchantments. The deck has no fast mana or tutors, relying on taplands and a high curve to eventually overwhelm opponents with resilient threats and sweeping removal.
