New ur-Dragon by dragonlordphilzy

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon helms a high-impact five-color Dragon tribal deck focused on mana acceleration, board-wide threat scaling, and explosive combat steps. The Ur-Dragon permanently reduces Dragon casting costs from the command zone through eminence, allowing you to deploy massive flying threats ahead of curve. The primary game plan curves from early ramp into value engines like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, and Old Gnawbone, culminating in overwhelming airborne combat damage. Alternate win conditions include direct damage triggers from Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of the Peaks, as well as infinite combat steps assembled using Aggravated Assault alongside Old Gnawbone, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, or Ancient Copper Dragon.
